HUN Manet marked his first trip to Europe since being appointed Prime Minister of Cambodia.
Hun Manet left Cambodia on January 13 and arrived in the French capital of Paris on the same day.
He was scheduled to attend the annual World Economic Forum in Switzerland on January 16 and 17.
He is expected to talk about restoring faith in the global system and focusing on “win-win” approaches.
From Switzerland, he will embark on his first official visit to France at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron which will take place on January 18 to 19.
Both leaders are expected to discuss issues concerning the environment, energy sector, economy, and defense.
The Cambodian leader has met with several French officials from the energy sector ahead of his meeting with Macron.
