HINDI pa rin tapos ang usapin patungkol sa tensiyon sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at China matapos ang umano’y pagpapasabog ng water cannon ng Chinese Coast Guard (CCG) sa Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) habang nasa resupply mission ang mga ito na malapit sa Ayungin Shoal.
Paglilinaw ni Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian sa media interview, mayroong special arrangement para sa pagpapadala ng humanitarian supply ng PCG.
Wala aniyang problema dito at hindi aniya ito hinarang ng kanilang coast guard.
“I think China has just issued on statement in response to the latest developments. This statement may be helpful for you to understand what happened…What I want to emphasize is that there has never been a problem with the delivery of humanitarian supplies because there is a special arrangement for such,” ayon kay Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian.
Ang naging problema aniya rito ay ang kawalan ng koordinasyon sa pagtra-transport ng building materials.
Saad pa nito na nakikipag-usap na sila sa lahat ng may bahagi sa nangyaring tensiyon doon.
“And you know the problem was with the transportation of building materials. I think that’s so far what I can share with you. Thank you so much, we have communicated closely with the parties concern on these. Thank you,” dagdag ni Huang Xilian.
Samantala, tiniyak naman niya ang commitment ng China sa mga konsultasyon at pagsasagawa ng dayalogo sa pagitan nito at ng Pilipinas pagdating sa maritime disputes.
“China and the Philippines have differences, we should forge an important commitment on the consensus, the Chinese side express our willingness to handle this differences, to strengthen the dialogue, the consultation and dialogue on maritime disputes,” ani Huang Xilian
Umaasa rin siya na magkakaroon ng matibay na relasyon ang China kasama ang iba pang kapitbahay na bansa sa Asya.
Tiwala ito na kayang mapanatili ng ASEAN countries ang katiwasayan sa South China Sea.
“We hope to achieve a regional….Including UNCLOS, ASEAN countries are capable to maintain peace and stability in the South China Sea, US and other states wish chaos in the South China Sea,” aniya.
