NANGAKO ang Chinese government na maraming proyekto sa mga taga-Davao City sa ilalim ng Bongbong Marcos administration.
Ipinahayag ito kamakailan ni Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian sa kanyang pagdalo sa inagurasyon ni VP-elect Sara Duterte sa Davao City.
Isa siya sa mga foreign dignitary na inimbitahan ng susunod na bise-presidente sa kanyang panunumpa.
At para sa China, mahalaga sa kanila ang Davao City kaya full support sila sa oath taking ni Sara na siya ring outgoing City Mayor.
“Davao is in history is one of the region that is close to China. And now is an important city which has very close social economic relationship with China,” pahayag ni Huang Xilian.
At bukod diyan ay may mga sister cities ang Davao sa ilang Chinese Cities.
Kamakailan, inaprubahan ng Chinese government ang pondo para sa pagtatayo ng Samal Island-Davao City Connector Bridge.
Proyektong makatutulong sa libo-libong residente ng siyudad.
Nagkakahalaga ng P17.29-B ang proyekto na may habang 3.86-km.
“It is our honor to be part of the Build, Build, Build program and will help by completing this connector bridge, we will contribute to the economic growth and social development of this region,” ani Huang Xilian.
Nagpahayag naman ng pasasalamat si VP-elect Sara sa Duterte administration dahil sa pagsisimula ng Davao City Samal Island Connector.
“Oo, nagpapasalamat kami sa Duterte administration dahil they really endeavored na pasimulan yung Davao City Samal Island Connector and hopefully in the next 3-4 years it will greatly benefit Island Garden City of Samal and open Davao City as well sa mga interested na pumasyal dito sa areas namin because it will make it very convenient for them na mayroong bridge diyan,” pahayag ni Sara.
At dahil sa magandang relasyon ng China at Pilipinas, tiniyak ng Chinese government na magpapatuloy ang pasok ng mga proyekto sa Davao City.
“So we will work together with the new administration to identify the priority of the projects and continue to help the infrastructure development of this country,” ani Huang.
