CHINA’s third Aircraft Carrier Fujian returned to a shipyard in Shanghai after it successfully finished its eight-day maiden trials earlier this week.
The aircraft carrier underwent rigorous testing of its propulsion and electrical systems, marking a significant milestone in the vessel’s evaluation phase.
Fujian will undergo additional trials to further assess the carrier’s capabilities and ensure it is ready for operational deployment.
The eight-day sea trial took place alongside massive military exercises participated by more than 16,000 military personnel from the United States, France, Australia, and the Philippines.
The annual exercises known as Balikatan started last month and ended on May 10.
