HUNDREDS of pages of court documents relating to the late financier and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein have been released.
These documents also unsealed the names of nearly 200 people cited in a 2015 lawsuit brought by Virginia Guiffre, against Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, after she branded her a liar over her claims that she was sexually abused as a minor.
The suit was settled in 2017, and Maxwell’s lawyers had fought for the names to remain private, until now.
The said court filings were unsealed on the order of U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska in December 2023.
A court spokesperson also said that they would make public the court filings on a rolling basis starting January 1 of this year.
The unsealed files include billionaire Glenn Dublin, ex-private chef Rinaldo Rizzo, ex-Victoria’s Secret CEO Lex Wexner, David Copperfrield, and many more.
High-profile names such as ex-Pres. Bill Clinton, ex-Pres. Donald Trump, Stephen Hawking, and Prince Andrew of the U.K, were also included in the Epsteen list.
The court filings claimed that ex-President Clinton liked young girls.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the ex-president said in 2019 that Clinton had not talked to Epstein in more than 10 years and was unaware of any criminal activity in the time that Clinton knew him.
Clinton has also vehemently denied ever visiting Epstein’s island.
The court records also alleged that UK’s Prince Andrew had groped a woman at Epstein’s home in Manhattan in 2001, a separate case put forward by Guiffre against Prince Andrew, though the case was settled out of court in 2023.
Prince Andrew continues to deny all wrongdoing, although he has acknowledged a friendship with Epstein.
Others named in the documents include ex-President Donald Trump, Alan Dershowitz and a “well-known prime minister”.
All have denied any wrongdoing. And in one file, Ghislaine Maxwell told her lawyers via email that she was worried about being questioned about her relationship with Prince Andrew.
The full list of names includes Epstein’s associates, witnesses, victims, and others incidentally related to the case.
But according to Judge Preska, the names of underage victims who did not testify will remain under seal.
Many sought to know about the case of Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted pedophile who died in a New York jail.
He was an ex-financier who had long socialized with the rich and powerful, and has a private island, little Saint James, located in the Caribbean and he reportedly travels there via his private jet known as “The Lolita Express”.
Epstein was indicted in 2019 on federal charges of operating a sex trafficking ring. He then committed suicide in jail while awaiting trial.
Authorities said that the official cause of his death was suicide by hanging.
Meanwhile, Maxwell, Epstein’s ex-girlfriend and longtime accomplice, was also indicted and convicted in 2022.
Even after Epstein’s death, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York indicated that it would focus on the conspiracy charge against Epstein.
This move could allow prosecutors to charge individuals involved in the scheme.
