SA isang pahayag, kinumpirma ni Philippine Army Spokesperson Col. Louie Demaala na may nagtangkang pasukin ang Cyber Network ng kanilang hanay.
Pero nilinaw nito na hindi hacking incident ang nangyari kung saan tukoy na nila ang grupong nasa likod sa nasabing illegal access sa mahahalagang impormasyon ng Philippine Army.
“The Philippine Army has detected and acknowledged the illegal access attempt of a certain group to breach the PA network,’’ ayon kay Col. Louie Demaala, Spokesperson, Philippine Army
‘’The Philippine Army already identified this group and currently conducting counter-measures to prevent such cybersecurity incidents in the future,” saad nito.
Agad na nagsagawa ng imbestigasyon ang kanilang hukbo para hindi na maulit ang insidenteng ito.
Habang patuloy namang tinitiyak ng militar ang kanilang pagpapalakas sa cybersecurity defense sa ilalim ng nagpapatuloy na modernization program.
“Moving forward, the PA continues to strengthen its cyber defense capabilities through the PA Cyber Security Enhancement Program which is a key component of our modernization thrust,” ani Demaala.
