“DESIGNING a Strategic, Resilient at Sustainable Cebu”, ito ang tema sa isinagawang tatlong araw na Cebu Business Months Entrepreneurship Summit 2023 na ginanap sa Cebu.
Nagsimula ang tatlong araw na entrepreneurship summit ng Agosto 30, 2023 at nagtapos nitong Setyembre 1 sa IT Park Cebu City.
Ang naturang aktibidad ay bahagi ng Cebu Business Months 2023 ng Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Dinaluhan ito ng iba’t ibang mga negosyante sa Cebu na mula sa Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises Industry (MSME’s).
Tinalakay sa unang araw ang food sustainability at security, sa ikalawang araw ang mentorship at innovations at sa pangatlong araw ang future proofing at mental health.
Ayon kay Gretchon Choa, chairman ng CBM Entrepreneurship Summit— masaya ito sa naging feedback ng mga nagsipagdalo na mga negosyante.
“So far very happy, for the entrepreneurship summit yesterday our keynote speaker really set the tone and vibe for everyone. Everyone was aware that agriculture and food security issue here specifically in Cebu and then we know I had some friends come up and say I have a land, now they wanna consider farming, to me it’s already a win,” pahayag ni Gretchen Choa, Chairman, Cebu Business Months (CBM) Entrepreneurship Summit.
Dagdag pa ni Choa, bagama’t may mga makabagong teknolohiya hindi pa rin dapat maisawalang bahala ang tradisyunal na pamamaraan at intindihin ang pinaka solusyon sa bawat problema na darating.
“I would say what we’ve seen in day 1 and day 2 is number one, do not forget your core just because its old school everyone is concern about innovation…innovations… technology but sometimes if you don’t know your concern in analog as what our speaker said, don’t solve it by doing digital. Understand the core, so in food security, we understand the core of the problem and we try to solve it. Don’t ask for the technology to solve a problem that’s not necessarily solvable via technology,” saad ni Choa.
Ayon naman kay Niko Basubas, co-chairman ng CBM Entrepreneurship Summit, naging makabuhulan ang talakayan sa tatlong araw na summit dahil ito ay napapanahon.
“This topics such as mental health, agri-business are not topics that you talk to everyday or over lunch. And the reason why we’re doing 3 day summit and featuring of this topics is to give highlight and expose them as to how vital they are to the economy in general,” pahayag ni Niko Basubas, co-chairman, Cebu Business Months (CBM) Entrepreneurship Summit.
Naging bahagi rin ang ilan sa mga eksperto sa iba’t ibang larangan para magbigay kaalaman sa mga negosyante o nagsisimula pa lang sa negosyo na maka-adapt sa hamon ng kalakaran sa bansa.
