French president ends three-day trip to Germany

FRENCH President Emmanuel Macron urged Europeans to wake up and resist the growing influence of far-right parties.

Macron made the warning as far-right parties from both countries seek political gains ahead of the European elections set to take place from the 6th through the 9th of June.

Macron and his German Frank-Walter Steinmeier agreed to deepen bilateral ties between their countries.

The French Germany also campaigned for the region to be more loyal to European-made technology, particularly in the sectors of defense and space.

France and Germany are among the biggest economies in Europe.

The three-day state visit that started on Sunday made Macron the first French President to visit Germany in nearly 25 years.
