Innocent bystander dead, 5 others injured in New York Subway shooting

ONE innocent bystander was killed and five others were injured after the unidentified armed man opened fire at the Mount Eden Avenue Subway Station in Bronx, New York on Monday.

Representatives of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, New York Police Department (NYPD), and FBI blocking the crime site and examining the station.

According to police reports, the shooter began targeting passengers as a train arrived at the station.

The shooting resulted in the death of a 34-year-old man, while five others, including a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, were injured.

The NYPD said their injuries are not life-threatening.

According to the police report, the investigation is ongoing and they are searching for at least one shooter.

So far, no arrests had been made.
