AS Israel celebrates Independence Day, the Embassy of Israel to the Philippines promotes organic music through Rhythmania-an, all-female group of drummers from Israel.
“We do some performance here in Manila—-good connection between the Philippines and Israel,” said Carmel Sintar, Leader, Rhythmania.
“As we celebrated last week—65 years of our friendship,” said Esty Buzgan, First Secretary/Consul, Embassy of Israel to the Philippines.
Rhythmania is a group that encourages green drumming or music through upcycled drums and eco-friendly instruments
“All of our show is trying to do something—-we are happy with it,” said Carmel Sintar, Leader, Rhythmania.
“You know the world is growing into a–we’ll learn from each other,” said Esty Buzgan, First Secretary/Consul, Embassy of Israel to the Philippines.
The group also showcased a light dance that amazed the students who attended the event.
The embassy also distributed drumsticks to students, so they could play along with the group.
This program is just one of the outreach programs prepared by the Embassy of Israel to the Philippines in line with the celebration of Israel’s National Day.
