GABRIEL Attal, 34 years old, and a close ally of Macron, is now the youngest prime minister in French history and the first openly gay person to hold the office.
In a post on social media platform X, Macron said to Attal, he knows he can count on the new prime minister’s energy and commitment to implement the rearmament and regeneration project that he announced.
It can be noted that Attal now has the task of leading the French government into European parliament elections in June.
Meanwhile, the president thanked borne for her work in the service of the nation that has been exemplary every day.
