NAGSAGAWA ng outreach program ang National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Region 1 sa Brgy. Amontoc, San Gabriel, La Union ngayong araw.
Kasama ang Police Regional Office (PRO)-1, La Union Police Provincial Office (LUPPO), Rotary Club at Department of Social welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 1.
Ito’y bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ika-29 na National Crime Prevention Week na ginaganap tuwing unang linggo ng Setyembre.
Kasama sa aktibidad ang gift-giving activity, medical and dental mission, feeding program sa mga bata sa naturang barangay.
Ang tema ng pagdiriwang ngayong taon ay “Addressing Crime and Advancing Crime Prevention at the Local, National and Global Levels”.
Kabilang pa sa selebrasyon ang regional line agencies, government owned and controlled corporations, local government units (LGUs) at private stakeholders sa isang weeklong activities na ito na magtatagal hanggang Biyernes, Setyembre 8.
