New clashes kill 3 Palestinians in West Bank

THREE Palestinians including two militants accused of carrying out a recent shooting attack were killed by Israeli forces in the Northern West Bank City of Nablus.

The 3 Palestinians were killed in 2 separate incidents.

Israeli forces launched an early morning raid on Friday morning in search of the two militants, aged 32 and 34, who were accused of carrying out a shooting attack at a small Samaritan community South of Nablus on Wednesday.

A third Palestinian was reportedly shot by Israeli forces in the Village of Umm Saf on the same day.

Meanwhile, Al-Qassam brigades, a military wing of the Palestinian organization Hamas, declared responsibility for the death of a 22-year-old member of the Israeli defense forces.

The group said, the attack was in response to the latest military offensive in the Palestinian refugee camp of Jenin, which killed 12 people and wounded more than 100 others.

The Israeli government said the military raid was launched in Jenin to arrest militants it accuses of terrorism as well as targeted infrastructure and weapons depots owned by Palestinian militant factions operating in the area.
