INAASAHANG sisimulan ngayong taon ang konstruksiyon ng Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge project ayon sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Inisa-isa ng DPWH ang naging usad ng infrastructure projects ng Marcos administration sa ginanap na pulong sa Malakanyang.
Inaasahang gagawin ang ground breaking ng Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge project ngayong taon.
Ito ang inihayag ni DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan sa Palace briefing nitong Martes.
Ani Bonoan, ang naturang proyekto ay may habang 32 kilometro na babaybay sa Manila Bay.
Ito ay isang 4-lane bridge na mag-uugnay sa Mariveles, Bataan papuntang Naic, Cavite.
“And this will include dalawang big bridges; one of the bridges will be 400 meters and the other one is 900 meters. And this will be, iyong mga bridges na ito will be, iyong mga cable-stayed bridge,” saad ni Sec. Manuel Bonoan, DPWH.
Iniulat pa ng DPWH chief na 70% nang kumpleto ang Detailed Engineering Design (DED) ng proyekto.
Oras na makumpleto ang proyekto, mababawasan na ang travel time sa pagitan ng Bataan to Cavite, mula 5 oras, ay magiging less than 1 hour na lamang.
Nagkakahalaga ang nasabing bridge project ng P175-Billion na pinondohan sa pamamagitan ng Official Development Assistance mula sa Asia Development Bank.
Target na makumpleto ang proyekto sa loob ng 5 taon o sa ilalim ng termino ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.
“So, with this bridge, I think, you will have better access to more direct access between these two growth areas and significantly it will improve actually the economic development not only in Luzon but for the entire country.”
“And no less than the Asian Development Bank has indicated that the economic rate of return of this bridge is more than 25% and that’s big, that’s really big,” dagdag ni Bonoan.
Una nang inilahad ng DPWH na kapag natapos ang Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge project, ito ang magiging pinakamalaki at pinakamahabang iconic bridge sa bansa.
Malalaking infrastructure projects na handa para sa inagurasyon bago ang 2023 SONA, iprinisenta kay PBBM
Bago nito, iprinisenta ni Secretary Bonoan kay Pangulong Marcos sa ginanap na sectoral meeting sa Malakanyang ang mga malalaking proyektong pang-imprastraktura na nakatakdang simulan ang konstruksiyon sa taong ito.
“Prinisenta rin kay Pangulong Marcos ang malalaking infrastructure projects na for inauguration and groundbreaking this 2023 from public-private partnership, official development funded projects and locally funded projects,” pahayag ni Daphne Oseña-Paez, Malacañang Press Briefer.
“I was tasked actually to give a briefing to the President kung ano iyong mga projects, first of all, the projects that we have accomplished for the six months period of this administration, from July to December. And I also presented to the President, actually, what projects that are lined up for groundbreaking and inauguration before the State-of-the-Nation Address of the President in June,” ayon pa kay Bonoan.
Bilang principal infrastructure arm ng gobyerno, saysay ni Bonoan, ang DPWH ay nakapag-implementa, maintain at nakapag- construct ng 1,500 kilometers ng national roads at local roads sa buong bansa.
Dagdag pa ni Bonoan, isinagawa na rin ng ahensiya ang pagtatayo ng humigit-kumulang 161 na tulay sa national roads at iba pang local roads.
Nakapagsagawa na rin ang DPWH ng 851 flood control projects na layong mabawasan ang pagbaha.
Ibinahagi rin ng DPWH ang iba pang mga proyekto na nakalinya para sa inagurasyon bago ang State-of-the-Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Marcos.
Kasama na rito ang NLEX-SLEX connector, Segment ng Cavite-Laguna Expressway, Central Luzon Link Project, Samar Pacific Coastal Road, Flood mitigation projects sa Cagayan de Oro, at ilang road projects sa Mindanao.
Kabilang din ang anim na tulay na itatayo across Pasig River.
“Three of these bridges are funded from the Asian Development Bank assistance, and three other bridges are actually being assisted from the Chinese Exim Bank [Exim Bank of China], and these are the projects that had been presented by the President during his visit in China – iyong Chinese-funded projects,” dagdag ni Bonoan.
Bukod sa mga nabanggit, iimplementa rin ng DPWH ang classroom programs ng Department of Education, ang farm-to-market roads ng Department of Agriculture,
roads leading to tourist destinations ng Department of Trade and Industry, at commuter rail transport projects ng Department of Transportation.
Para sa 2023, nasa mahigit 70,000 projects ang iimplementa ng DPWH.
Kasama dito ang major projects at local projects sa buong bansa na may budget allocation na P890 billion.
