PATULOY na nagtatrabaho si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte habang naka-quarantine matapos ma-expose sa staff na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ayon kay acting Presidential Spokesperson Secretary Karlo Nograles.
Ayon kay Nograles, Enero 30 nang nakasalamuha ni Pangulong Duterte ang naturang tauhan.
Sumailalim ang pangulo sa RT-PCR test at bagama’t dalawang beses na siyang nagnegatibo sa virus, sumunod pa rin ito sa mandatory quarantine protocols.
“The president has since been tested for COVID-19, and while the results of the test came back negative, he is currently observing mandatory quarantine protocols,”ayon kay Nograles.
Nilinaw naman ni Nograles na hindi naka-quarantine ang pangulo sa ospital at tumungo lang ito sa Cardinal Santos Medical Center sa San Juan para sa kanyang routine medical checkup.
Sa kabila nito, inihayag ng Palasyo na patuloy na magtatrabaho ang Chief Executive at makikipag-ugnayan sa kanyang gabinete.
“The Chief Executive continues to work while in quarantine, and is in constant communication with the members of the cabinet in order to ensure that urgent matters are addressed, and to monitor the implementation of his directives, particularly with regard to the government’s COVID-19 response,”saad ni Nograles.
Partikular aniya na tututukan ng Pangulo habang naka-quarantine ang implementasyon ng government’s COVID-19 response.
Inaasahan naman na magkakaroon ng Talk to the People si Pangulong Duterte sa susunod na linggo.
