THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) held the convening ceremony of Coast Guard Explosive Ordnance Disposal Course (CGEODC) Class 09-2025 aboard PCG Gymnasium, Coast Guard Base Farola, Binondo, Manila on 17 January 2025.
This class is composed of dedicated personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine Army (Light Reaction Regiment), Philippine Navy (Naval Ammunitions and Explosives Center), Philippine Marine Corps (Force Reconnaissance Group, Presidential Security Command), Philippine Air Force (PAF), and Philippine National Police (Special Action Force, Special Weapons and Tactics)—representing the strength of unity and collaboration across our key security forces.
These individuals will undergo intensive training to develop the critical skills needed to respond to explosive threats and ensure the safety and security of our communities.
The said ceremony which highlighted the commitment and bravery of our nation’s defenders was graced by the Commander, Coast Guard Special Operations Force (CGSOF), Rear Admiral Inocencio Rosario Jr PCG.
Also present during the ceremony were the Deputy Commander of Coast Guard Special Operations Force (CGSOF), Captain Jimmy Naisod PCG; Course Director of the said class, Lieutenant Commander Ceferino Checa III PCG; Command Chaplain of CGSOF, Hji Saud Mohammad PCG; and other Officers and Non-officers of CGSOF.
