THE Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) welcomed our ju-jitsu athletes days after their productive stint at the recently concluded 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
Gold medalists Meggie Ochoa and Annie Ramirez spearheaded the delegates, along with head coach Stephen Kamphuis, as they were given an honorary welcome by PSC Executive Director Paulo Francisco Tatad and Commissioner Walter Torres.
Three total medals in the ASIAD came from our Filipina ju-jitsu fighters with golds from Meggie and Annie, including a bronze courtesy of Kaila Napolis.
