THE planned regional consultations for the controversial Charter Change are now set to start this Friday.
It will begin this Friday, May 17th, in Baguio City for the Luzon leg.
This will be followed by back-to-back consultations in Cebu City and Cagayan de Oro for the Visayas and Mindanao legs scheduled to take place next week, from May 23rd to 24th.
The Senate sub-committee led by Senator Sonny Angara is tasked with studying proposed Resolution of Both Houses number six or R-B-H-6, which aims to amend certain provisions of the 1987 Constitution, including those related to foreign investments, public utilities, and higher education.
Senators Migz Zubiri, Loren Legarda, Bong Go, and Ronald Bato Dela Rosa are expected to attend the consultation in Baguio City.
