Rehab of Canaynay Ave. enhances roadway, flood control in Parañaque City

A new and improved local road at Canaynay Avenue, connecting Parañaque City to Las Piñas was successfully rehabilitated by the Department of Public Works and Highways — Metro Manila 2nd District Engineering Office on November 2024, providing significant improvements in both road quality, and flood mitigation in the neighboring cities.

After years of inconveniences due to garbage accumulation along drainage lines and deterioration caused by heavy traffic, the roads along Canaynay Avenue have now been upgraded with newly concreted surfaces, offering a smoother and more durable thoroughfare. The drainage systems have also been overhauled, ensuring better water flow management and reducing the risk of flooding.

This initiative not only benefits those living in Parañaque and Las Piñas but also supports local businesses by improving access, and reducing disruptions caused by previous road conditions.
