LUMAGDA ng kasunduan ang SMNI at Philippine Army, ang dalawang institusyon na parehong pinagkakatiwalaan ng taumbayan para sa paghahatid ng makatotohanan na pagbabalita na dapat malaman ng bayan.
Pinangunahan ni Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy at ni Lt. Gen. Romeo Brawner, Jr. ang commanding general ng Philippine Army ang paglalagda ng kasunduan.
Magiging magkatuwang ang SMNI sa paghahatid ng makatotohanang impormasyon lalong lalo na sa laban kontra insurhensiya.
“The partnership is a really very good move not just for the Philippine Army and SMNI but for our effort really to get rid with the local communist conflict to end it finally. Dahil kailangan natin magtulung-tulong and the media plays a very important role in this because as I have mentioned a long time ago, information is power. But we have to give them the right kind of information because if we give them the wrong information it’s also very powerful and that is what the CPP-NPA-NDF is using the wrong kind of information to recruit their members,” pahayag ni Brawner.
Itinuturing naman ni Pastor Apollo na isang magandang pagsasanib-pwersa ng SMNI at Philippine Army upang matuldukan ang mga panlilinlang ng mga teroristang grupo sa mamamayang Pilipino.
“This is a momentous time for all of us because we have one aim in our crusade in bringing the truth that matters to all Filipino people for the scourge that have infested our land for the last 53-52 years which is the scourge that is what we called the CPP-NPA-NDF that has devastated families after families and I think no one was spared in 53 years for this malady that has visited our land,” pahayag ni Pastor Apollo.
Naniniwala naman si Lt. Gen. Brawner na magkapareho ang SMNI at Philippine Army na sinsero ang pagmamahal sa bayan lalong lalo na sa paghahatid ng tamang balita.
“Well ‘yung pangarap natin ay pareho na talagang maging maunlad ang ating bansa, we have that genuine love for our country and that is what matters and that will make our partnership even stronger,” ani Brawner.
Kaya naman kinilala ni Pastor Apollo ang mga bumubuo sa Armed Forces of the Philippines sa walang sawa nitong pakikipaglaban sa information war laban sa panlilinlang ng mga komunistang terorista.
Kung dati walang kasama ang sandatahang lakas, ngayon ay kasama na nito sa laban ang SMNI.
“So to the men and women of the Philippine Army and the armed forces in general we salute you for what you have done in our country and you have done it almost single-handedly and the enemy has lorded it over and the mainstream media that has done nothing to really repel the onslaught of this scourge and malady of our land until SMNI came into being and we have dedicated men and women of also of SMNI under my leadership to really dedicate this media network for nation-building and for the information war that has been waging since the beginning of this insurgency on favor of this communist terrorist group but not anymore until this time,” ayon sa butihing Pastor.
Itinuturing naman ng dating tagapagsalita ng NTF-ELCAC na si Dr Lorraine Badoy, isa sa mga anchor ng Laban Kasama ang Bayan na isang tagumpay para sa mga Pilipino ang magandang partnership ng Phil Army at SMNI.
“The partnership of the two very trusted institution the Philippine Army which is the most trusted institution in the government and SMNI which is really the go to of the Filipinos when they want the truth is really a win for the Filipino people most especially our war to end the CPP-NPA-NDF,” pahayag ni Badoy.
Hinamon naman ni Dr. Badoy ang iba pang media na gayahin ang ginagawa ng SMNI sa laban nito kontra insurhensiya.
“I am anticipating criticisms by the CPP-NPA-NDF mouthpieces in communication in media and I would like to tell them. We ask you if you want the truth go and have another MOA with the Philippines Army coz these are the real heroes of our country with their boots on the ground for so many decades at ang ibibigay nilang information ay totoo, huwag sa CPP dahil mga sinungaling yan so at this time in our country’s history and you are still the mouthpieces of the CPP-NPA-NDF you are clearly part of the problem,” ayon pa ni Badoy.
Una nang sinabi ni Pastor Apollo na pagdating sa paghahatid ng makatotohanang pagbabalita ay maaasahan ng taumbayan ang SMNI.
