Support for Ukraine not ‘indefinite’—White House

THE White House said the support for Ukraine is not indefinite, this is after Kyiv has been granted a whopping 1.15 billion dollars grant from the PEACE initiative.

The United States is running out of money for Ukraine unless Congress approves more funding.

While Pentagon’s spokesperson on Tuesday assured that the US has the ability to continue its support for both Ukraine and Israel.

Kirby said that the money previously appropriated for Ukraine by the U.S. Congress is not going to last forever and that American lawmakers need to approve more, and soon.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has been granted 1.15 billion dollars from the U.S. under the so-called PEACE initiative.

The Finance Ministry of Ukraine has officially confirmed the said grant.

The PEACE initiative, which stands for Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance, in Ukraine project, is a flagship initiative of the World Bank. This initiative has been aiding Ukraine in its fight against Russia.
