VP Sara Duterte takes active role in Davao Region’s E-Tile Distribution Initiative

VICE President Sara Duterte expressed her satisfaction after participating in the Region-Wide E-Title Distribution event at Rizal Memorial Colleges Gym in Davao City last Wednesday.

The ceremony, led by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., marked a significant milestone in empowering farmers and advancing the Land and Acquisition Distribution program of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).

More than 2,672 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries from Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, Davao de Oro, Davao Occidental, and Davao Oriental were recipients of land titles during the event.

The distribution covered an extensive area of over 3,560 hectares, providing our farmer brothers the means to enhance their livelihoods.

In her address, VP Duterte underscored the pivotal role of agriculture in fostering economic growth and development in the country. She commended the dedication of the farmers, acknowledging their significant contributions to a promising and bright future.

VP Duterte also took the opportunity to highlight the importance of education, specifically graduation, as a transformative tool that can positively impact lives, particularly those of the graduates and their families.

Expressing her gratitude, VP Duterte personally thanked the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), headed by Secretary Conrado Estrella III, for extending the invitation to be part of this region-wide distribution of E-Titles. The event aligns with the government’s commitment to supporting farmers and ensuring equitable access to land resources.

VP Duterte urged everyone to stand strong in promoting the youth, emphasizing the importance of cultivating a resilient and empowered community.

The Region-Wide E-Title Distribution event signifies a collective effort towards agrarian reform and sustainable development in Davao Region, with VP Sara Duterte playing a pivotal role in advocating for the welfare of farmers and the agricultural sector.
