TULUY-tuloy ang pagdalo ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa mga graduation ceremony ng iba’t ibang paaralan sa Pilipinas.
Nitong Biyernes ng umaga, tumungo si Vice President Sara Duterte sa ika-anim na Commencement Exercises ng Ismael Mathay Sr. High School (IMSHS) sa Quezon City.
Sa kaniyang mensahe para sa graduates, may paalala ang pangalawang pangulo sa kanila.
Aniya na batay sa kaniyang karanasan, hindi magiging madali ang buhay ngunit kung titingnan lamang nila ang mga magagandang bagay sa lahat ng sitwasyon ay magiging tulay ito ng maraming magagandang oportunidad.
“Hindi magiging madali ang buhay. Pero kahit hindi ito madali magiging puno ito ng oportunidad kung lamang, you see the brighter side of things. You always look at the brighter side of things. These opportunities will present themselves before you but let’s start talking the value of your dreams,” pahayag ni Vice President Sara Duterte, Republic of the Philippines.
Hinimok din ni Vice President Duterte ang mga graduate na tuparin ang kanilang mga pangarap sa buhay at mangyayari lamang ito sa pamamagitan ng kanilang pagsisikap at dedikasyon.
Pero aniya minsan may mga pangarap na kahit anong pagsisikap ang gawin ay hindi natutupad subalit aniya hindi dapat sumuko.
“There are times that even with hard work, even with determination, dreams slip through one’s fingers causing disappointment and despair, dagdag ni VP Sara.
“Do not give up. Do not surrender. Cultivate another garden of dreams. You should and you must because of your life is at stake and the lives of your future family members. In my own experience, dreams may come true and it may come true for those who will work hard for them to come true,” ayon pa kay VP Sara.

Samantala, sa nalalapit na State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. may inaasahan si Vice President Duterte na mapapakinggan mula sa Pangulo.
“Ayaw natin na pangunahan ang ating Pangulo but we expect that he will highlight kung ano ‘yung mga immediately na nagawa natin in the past year,” ayon pa kay VP Sara.
Sa tanong naman kung may mga programa ba o polisiya ang DepEd na nais niyang masuportahan ni Pangulong Marcos, ito ang naging tugon ni Vice President Duterte.
“Well fortunately pareho naman ‘yung vision ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos and kung ano ‘yung nahanda ng Department of Education particularly ‘yung understanding niya ng continuity ng ginawa ng Basic Education Development Plan ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte. And siya din kasama din natin siya when we crafted the Matatag Agenda ng Department of Education during the term of President Marcos. Basically doon sa Matatag Agenda hinighlight natin ang learners, ang teachers, ang ating mga facilities and the quality of our education,” pagtatapos ni VP Sara.
