SEVEN volunteers who are part of the fourth batch joined doctors and nurses to help treat injured Palestinians in Gaza.

The UAE’s field hospital in the Gaza Strip has assisted more than 440 patients in the past two weeks.

The facility offers various treatment services ranging from first-aid to life-saving surgery.

The hospital was opened on December 2 as part of the Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian operation ordered by the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The total number of Emirati medical volunteers flown to Gaza is now 35.

To recall, the UAE pledged urgent aid of $20 million for the humanitarian response in the Palestinian territory.

Health officials in the besieged enclave reported that more than 20,000 Palestinians have already died from the conflict since Hamas launched the deadly attack on October 7.
