Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco officiates induction of 2025–2026 TCP officers and trustees

DEPARTMENT of Tourism (DOT) Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco officiated the induction ceremony of the newly elected officers and Board of Trustees of the Tourism Congress of the Philippines for the term 2025–2026 on Thursday (Jan. 16) at the DOT Office.

“Please accept our heartfelt congratulations on your election to the Tourism Congress Philippines, whom we view as our essential partner in the growth that tourism has so far achieved, as well as in the possibilities that have yet to come in terms of the amount of work that we can do together,” Secretary Frasco said during the ceremony.

Inducted into office were President Alan James Montenegro, Executive Vice President Mary Ann Montemayor, Vice President for Luzon Michael Jaey Albaña, Vice President for Visayas Celso “Toots” Jimenez Jr., Secretary Marilou Ampuan, Assistant Secretary Jackie Lou Relleve, Treasurer Margarita Munsayac, Assistant Treasurer Stanley Ng, Public Relations Officer Cynthia Mamon, and Trustees Ma. Theresa Acelo, Eduard Lawrence Loop, Jaime Sarte III, Cindy Marie Verar, Harry Morris, and Clyde Gamolo.

The TCP, established under Republic Act No. 9593 or the Tourism Act of 2009, serves as the consultative body for the government in the development, implementation, and coordination of tourism policies. It aims to unite private sector stakeholders and the government to sustain economic growth and advance Philippine tourism.
