CMO from the sea goes to Batanes

PHILIPPINE Navy hosts ‘Bayanihan Mula sa Karagatan‘ event in Batanes, June 6-7, 2024.

As part of the Philippine Navy’s post-anniversary activity, the Philippine Navy through Naval Forces Northern Luzon (NFNL) in collaboration with Naval Reserve Command (NRC), The Philippine Fleet (PF), and Civil Military Operations Group – Philippine Navy, hosted a dynamic CMO from the Sea event dubbed as “Bayanihan Mula sa Karagatan” or “Payuhuan Yapu Du Kaydawran in Ivatan” at Itbud, Uyugan, Batanes from June 06 to 07, 2024.

The activity will not be successful without the support from Northern Luzon Command, AFP (NOLCOM), Navy Personnel Management Center (NPMC), Marine Battalion Landing Team-10 (MBLT-10), volunteers from Philippine Navy Officers Wife and Husband Association (PNOWHA) and partner stakeholders — the Pacific Group of Companies, One Meralco Foundation, CWC International Corporation, Maynilad, Halcyon Marine Healthcare Systems, Makati Medical Foundation, Community of Praise, DOH Batanes, Philippine Sports Commission, Ronald McDonald’s House Charities, Latter Day Saints Charities and Philippine Navy and Coast Guard Enlisted Personnel Association, Inc. (PNCGEPAI).

Series of activities were conducted such as recruitment, Fisherfolk Forum, talks with reservists, Medical and Dental mission, Gift-giving, supplemental feeding, photo booth, distribution of food packs, solar lamps and slippers for the children.
