SECRETARY Bienvenido E. Laguesma and Undersecretary Carmela I. Torres together with Jobstreet by SEEK PH Managing Director April Dannah L. Majarocon and Operations Director Aki Sumulong, sign the Memorandum of Agreement between the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Jobstreet.com Philippines, Inc. aimed at strengthening collaboration on employment facilitation programs and activities, such as the conduct of job fairs, to benefit more Filipino jobseekers.
The signing, held during the first day of the Career Con 2025 organized by Jobstreet on January 28 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay, is the formalization of the partnership to collaboratively promote employment opportunities and labor market development subject to existing labor laws.
The MOA also covers the sharing of labor market information, streamlined pre-registration process on job fairs, the use of digital tools to aid data gathering and analysis of job-related information, and Jobstreet’s support to DOLE’s youth employability programs by providing experts for career development support seminars.
