A startup company from Greenland received a government license to export freshwater from the territory’s melted glaciers to the United Arab Emirates.
Arctic ice prides itself on selling the ‘purest water in the world’ that is ‘sculpted from Greenland’s majestic fjords’, and a source of pride for the North American territory.
The company’s source produces 21.3-B liters of water every year.
In January, 22 tons of glacier ice arrived in Dubai.
The luxury ice was used in different kinds of beverages, drinks, and food products while some clients used it for beauty and ice baths, due to its trademark of being purest on earth.
Arctic ice plans to expand its international market by exporting glacial water to other countries in the Gulf Region and other nations with dry weather.
The company has been receiving pre-orders amid growing interest from consumers to try the luxurious and ‘purest ice on earth’ formed for more than 100,000 years in the Arctic.
The Greenland ice sheet and the glaciers in the territory are known to hold the largest reservoir of freshwater not just in the Northern Hemisphere but also worldwide.
