HE might have missed the event this year, but billionaire Elon Musk promised President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan he will attend next year’s Teknofest— the largest aviation, aerospace, and technology festival in Turkiye that gathers private companies, ministries, and academic institutions annually.
Musk congratulated all the teams competing in the festival on Friday and thanked Erdogan for the invitation using the social media platform X owned by him.
The SpaceX CEO pledged to discuss further opportunities for investment in Türkiye when he attends the event next year.
Erdoğan said Türkiye will be pleased to host Musk at the Teknofest event next year, adding that he hopes to see the billionaire soon.
The five-day event is currently taking place at Atatürk Airport scheduled from September 27 to October 1.
Erdoğan and Musk have met multiple times both in Türkiye and on the sidelines of international forums as the two seemed to have developed a budding friendship.
