FPRRD or PBBM? Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy clarifies support to leaders

PASTOR Apollo C. Quiboloy puts an end to speculations regarding his support to President Ferdinand R. Marcos, the good Pastor also prayed for the success of the current administration.

Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and President Ferdinand R. Marcos. Jr., although they have strikingly different styles of leadership, both were elected and were supported by the majority of the Filipino people.

Thus, many people cannot help but make comparisons between the two most popular leaders of the country.

But despite all comparisons and differences, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy of The Kingdom of Jesus Christ said he wholeheartedly support the Philippine government, now led by the Marcos administration.

The good Pastor made the remarks during the Sounds of Worship Program last Sunday, August 20.

Pastor Apollo also shared that there were times that he is not in favor of some of the decisions made by Duterte when he was still president, however, the good Pastor still stood behind him, and this kind of unwavering support will continue in the Marcos administration.

“When President Duterte was in power, I was also not in favor of some of his decisions,” Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, The Kingdom of Jesus Christ said.

Like selection of cabinet officials from communist terrorist groups.

“But still, I didn’t mind my opinions, I supported 100% Pres. Duterte because he was our elected president.”

“Now that PBBM is our president, our 1000[%] support is for him and his mandate because we have elected him to that office,” Pastor Apollo added.

The good Pastor said that despite all criticisms and differences of opinion, citizens should still respect and submit to the elected leadership of the country.

“Ano man ang kritisismo, ano man ang opinyon, ano man ang ating gawing issues, that’s besides the point. As long as they are there, God has ordained them to be there. Let’s respect them, honor them, submit to them.”

“Me, I have many reservations. Many reservations. Even about his decisions. But my reservations are set aside, they’re nothing as long as they are designated, appointed, and elected through what the Word of God says through that opinions.”

“My opinions are set aside, my reservations are nothing. Kaya binoto natin sila. Sila ang umuukit ng ating bansa sa ngayon. Gusto man natin o hindi, nandyan sila at suportahan natin,” he said.

“Kung mali man sa ating pananaw ang kanyang desisyon o hindi, opinyon na lang natin yon. Pagka nilagay natin ang isang tao dyan at inelect natin. Binigyan natin siya ng mandate. Let’s support him,” Pastor Apollo added.

Pastor Apollo first said that it is his duty to fulfill and follow what the Holy Scripture says, and this is also the mandate of The Kingdom of Jesus Christ and SMNI.

But does this mean that the people will thoughtlessly follow the leadership and will turn a blind eye to supposedly wrong decisions or negative actions?

“Pag nagkamali siya, that’s his own account and responsibility. Hindi naman siguro tayo pababayaan ng Panginoong Diyos, ang bansang ito ay mahal niya.

“Listen to this, Romans 13:5 says:

“Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.”

“The president as a leader of our government, is elected to create a just, peaceful, and orderly society.”

“Gagawin man niya yan, kanyang kapabilidad o hindi, magagawa niya. That is his own responsibility, That is his own accountability.”

“Our responsibility is be subject. Obey and submit to the laws of the land being implemented by our Chief Executive, our decision-maker.”

“Whatever decision he makes, whether it makes us feel well or not, as long as he decided for it. Obey tayo. Magkaisa tayo, walang pagkahati-hati rito. Sapagkat mahal natin ang ating bansa kaya nagboto tayo. This is the essence of democracy,” according to Pastor Apollo.

Pastor Apollo prays for Marcos administration’s success

Meanwhile, Pastor Apollo encouraged the people to pray for the President and the success of his administration for the preservation and prosperity of the country.

“Our fervent prayers should ascend to the Almighty Father for the preservation and prosperity of our nation.”

“We pray that the Father will bless the President…………of his people. We as a Kingdom Nation are one in obedience to the scriptures that I have just read and mentioned to you,” he said.

The good Pastor dedicated a special episode of the Sounds of Worship to pray for all elected leaders as well as to clarify his stance amid speculations and rumors regarding his loyalty to the nation.

“Talking about loyalty to our country? I am always for peace. But if out President would declare war against whoever is perceived to be our enemies. I will be the first one to support him.”

“If he recruits me, I will be in his army.”

“And whoever he deem as our enemy, I will be there to support him, and the Kingdom Nation are one with me, to fulfill what the scripture says.”

“That is how I stand in obedience to the scriptures. So I would like to put to rest all of you who are doubting my loyalty to my country and to my president and to my leaders that we have elected to guide and lead this nation.”

“There should be no cynicism, there should be no revision when it comes to that. We are going to follow what the scripture says, no matter what,” Pastor Apollo said.
