NAGBIGAY ng suhestiyon si Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy kaugnay sa iminungkahi ni Senator Francis Tolentino na sa halip na limitahan lang ang bilang ng SIMs na pagmamay-ari ng isang tao ay patawan na lang aniya ang mga ito ng mataas na multa.
Kasunod ito sa mga naglipanang scammers sa bansa kung saan ang mga marami sa mga kababayan natin ang naloloko.
Ngunit para kay Pastor Apollo, kahit pa patawan ng mataas na multa ang mga scammer, mas mainam na magkaroon o makadiskubre ng isang teknolohiya na makatutulong para madaling matukoy at ma-monitor ang mga scammer.
“Even if, I think they will impose a high fee to deter scammers, they have money. [If] they want really to scam, they will spend a lot of money for that. So, what we need to do maybe is to really make a scientific move to really determine who the scammers are by our, I don’t know what technology can you use to really make surveillance of those scammers in our own way. I don’t know what technology to use about that, that we can track down scammers who are unregistered or if they are registered then they have so many,” ayon kay Pastor Apollo C. Dagdag pa ni Pastor Apollo, kahit na malabong maresolba ang problemang ito ay hangad pa rin ng butihing Pastor na makagawa ng paraan para matuldukan ang mga ginagawang modus ng mga scammer.
“It is very, a very almost impossible to solve [the] problem. I hope that they come up with something that can really nailed down these scammers on social media,” ayon pa sa butihing Pastor.
Matatandaang sa ginanap na pagdinig ng Senate Committee on Public Services ay ibinahagi ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Cybercrime Division ang lantarang pagbebenta ng SIM sa social media platforms gayundin ang paggamit ng pekeng identification sa pagrehistro ng SIM.
