MARIING kinondena ni Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy ang naging pahayag ni Senador Loren Legarda na pumapabor sa teroristang grupong CPP-NPA-NDF.
Sa eksklusibong panayam sa butihing Pastor sa programang Laban Kasama ang Bayan, ani Pastor Apollo na malinaw na sa kanya ngayon kung ano ang tunay na kulay ng senadora.
“We’re on the opposite side now and I know where she stands, she is really an advocate of the other side,” pahayag ni Pastor Apollo laban kay Senador Legarda.
Matatandaang isinusulong ni Legarda ang pag-review sa Anti-Terrorism Law of 2020, sa paniniwalang ang nasabing batas ay walang sapat na batayan upang ideklara ang ilang mga organisasyon bilang kalaban ng estado.
“I do not recall what law or what pronouncement of government has declared the Communist Party of the Philippines or similar organizations, movements, beliefs, or associations could be declared as enemies of the state. It’s so difficult to identify that,” pahayag ni Legarda.
“I say that not in contrary to my good friend Senator Tolentino’s manifestation today, or those who wish to associate with them. I stand here as someone who has worked with the so-called ‘left’ of this country and was admired many of those who shared the same vision for our country who may belong to those who are considered ‘left of center’ and there is nothing wrong with that, Mr. President,” dagdag ng senadora.
Si Sen. Legarda, na isang dati ring mamamahayag, ay umamin ring dating nagtatrabaho kasama ang mga makakaliwang grupo.
Kasunod nito’y, lubos na nadismaya si Pastor Apollo sa senadora na itinuturing niyang malapit na kaibigan.
“Bilang senador, pinagkakatiwalaan ka namin pagkatapos ‘yung stand mo ganun? I feel so disheartened and disappointed because I look at her as a personal close friend,” ayon sa butihing Pastor.
Ani Pastor Apollo, malinaw na ang ginawa ni Sen. Legarda ay isang pagtataksil sa mandato ng taumbayan.
“Bilang senator ng ating bayan, ito ay isang pagtataksil sa mandate ni ibinigay ng tao sa kanya. Ginamit mo iyong posisyon mo para ipagtanggol sila; iyon ang ikinasama ng aking loob at ng buong bayan,” ayon kay Pastor Apollo.
“Para mabuhay lang ang political career mo, isa-sacrifice mo ang buong bansa? We will not let that happen,” ayon pa sa butihing Pastor.
“You don’t have the right to be in position in government because you are undermining our trust; that is a complete betrayal,” aniya pa.
Iginiit din ni Pastor Apollo na walang karapatan ang teroristang grupong CPP-NPA-NDF na makakuha ng pabor mula sa gobyerno.
“Favorable opportunities must be denied to the CPP-NPA-NDF and their colluders, conspirators, collaborators at all times,” giit ni Pastor Apollo.
“The bottomline of the CPP-NPA-NDF is to topple down the present government and put up a communist dictatorship rule in the Philippines,” dagdag aniya.
Dahil dito, ikakampanya mismo ni Pastor Apollo na huwag nang iboto ang senadora sa susunod na halalan.
“If you run again next time, I’m sorry to say senator I will campaign against you because of your stand,” pagdiin ni Pastor Apollo.
“Sa susunod, ang iboboto natin ang tunay na nagmamahal sa ating bansa,” aniya pa.
Ngunit, sa kabila nito, sinabi naman ng butihing Pastor na patuloy siyang mananalangin para sa senadora na mabago pa ang kanyang desisyon.
“This is where our friendship ends politically; personally okay pa rin. Manalangin ka at mananalangin din ako sa iyo dahil na-brainwash ka,” ayon pa sa butihing Pastor.
Samantala, patuloy namang tiniyak ni Pastor Apollo na hindi ito titigil anuman ang mangyari hangga’t hindi tuluyang bumabagsak ang teroristang CPP-NPA -NDF.
“We will be here until the last drop of our blood. We will be fighting this monster until it is totally knocked out at hindi na makakabangon pang muli,” diin ni Pastor Apollo.
