ATTY. Salvador “Sal Panalo” Panelo criticized Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin for attacking former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte (FPRRD) when, in fact, Bersamin was appointed by FPRRD as Supreme Court Chief Justice and GSIS Chairman.
And during the past administration, Bersamin praised FPRRD for applying the law equally.
“Twisted and shameless words from a man who was appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and to the juicy position of Chairman of the Government Security Insurance System by the elder Duterte, whom he now depicts as a tyrant and transgressor of the people’s rights,” he said.
“Yet he willingly accepted the appointments and served under what he describes as an oppressive and tyrannical rule, even then praising then President Duterte for his strict and equal enforcement of laws to all, high or low,” Panelo added.
