PASTOR Apollo C. Quiboloy is confident that the members of the communist terrorist group (CTG), New People’s Army (NPA) will be wiped out by the end of the year, just as desired by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
“Our prayers will be answered. This nation’s scourge will vanish, and these NPA members will change their ways,” Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, The Kingdom of Jesus Christ said.
This was Pastor Apollo’s perspective when asked on his program Give Us This Day on August 2, following President Marcos directive to the Armed Forces of the Philippines to end the NPA before the year ends.
“I am positive about this because they had so many fronts before. How many were there? 89 guerrilla fronts in 2016, but now, under the leadership of former President Rodrigo Duterte, the NTF-ELCAC and E-CLIP have taken their toll, leaving only one active guerrilla front,” Pastor Apollo added.
Pastor Apollo also emphasized the Marcos administration’s plan to grant amnesty to rebel returnees.
In connection with this, he had a message for the remaining members of the rebel movement:
“Accept it. Stop engaging in armed struggle. Your revolution will lead you nowhere. It’s all about money now. It has become your business. Just change your ways. Don’t use firearms to extort people or destroy lives. That won’t be accepted by the people anymore,” he said.
It can be recalled that following President Marcos’ statement on the plan to grant amnesty, it was vehemently rejected by the communist terrorist groups (CTG).

“It’s a lost cause. Surrender now. You still have amnesty. Our government will help you. What more do you want? If you don’t accept that, then what you want is nonsense. You will face death because the Armed Forces of the Philippines will pursue you,” he added.
Pastor Apollo also called on the remaining members of the rebel movement, telling them that they are being used by the terrorist group.
“Our government is that sincere, so my fellow countrymen up in the mountains, if you’re listening, together with the mosquitoes and leeches, and you’re very hungry, you’re dying, pale and suffering from diabetes or kidney problems, your families being chased in the mountains, and there are so many dengue cases there, but your leaders are living a comfortable life. What about their children? Aren’t they going up the mountains? No. Their lives are good. They are just using you,” Pastor Apollo said.
