Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy extends International Children’s Day to the indigenous in Canada

PASTOR Apollo C. Quiboloy extends his birthday and love to the Ermineskin Cree Nation in Canada by celebrating International Children’s Day with the indigenous children.

For the third time in the year, the Ermineskin Cree Nation in Wetaskiwin Alberta celebrated International Children’s Day which brought joy not only to children but especially to their Chief Randy Ermineskin.

Not every child in the world, not even in developed nations where life seems to be prosperous and adequate can a child have the favor of celebrating their birthdays. As people around the world experienced all kinds of trials, the Canadian indigenous people are no exception and suffer the same fate.

The UniPhil Foundation which was founded by Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy is an organization for all the indigenous people not only in the Philippines but extending its support to different parts of the world even here in Canada. In addition, UniPhil showcases the rich art and culture of IPs and serves as an emblem of reconciliation, healing, and patriotism.

Indigenous people are spread all over Canada however, researchers have found that indigenous communities are mostly populated in the province of Alberta.

Volunteers of the UniPhil have reached out to the indigenous communities in Alberta and founded the Ermineskin Cree Nation also known as the “Ermineskin Tribe”. It is a cree of first nations band of government in the province of Alberta, which belongs to one of the four nations of Maskwacis (Alberta’s largest indigenous communities).

As volunteers reach out year after year to the Ermineskin Tribe, it is now the third year of Pastor Apollo  celebrating International Children’s Day at Ermineskin Cree Nation which has brought joy, love, and exchange of culture.

Many volunteers flew in from different cities and provinces to Edmonton, Alberta Canada for another fun-filled day to remember with joy and inclusion among friends in the Ermineskin Cree Nation community in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.

Volunteers helped hand in hand in preparing gifts for the children of the Ermineskin Cree nation. Overnight everyone partook in preparation for the most awaited event.

Volunteers extend International Children’s Day to the indigenous children as if it were their birthdays. A day filled with entertainment, games, food, gifts, joy, laughter, and love. A big feeding program for the children.

Also the most highlights of the event was blowing of the big cake and opening their gifts while children having a big great smile on their faces telling that it’s an unforgettable moment they have ever had.

The chief of the Ermineskin Cree Nation sends his love and warm greetings to Pastor Apollo.

“I just wanna wish Pastor Apollo a happy birthday, and thank you for coming here setting this up here at Ermineskin Cree Nation it was a welcoming environment for our people, our children and also all of your tribes in the Philippines that is celebrating your birthday and I wish you the best and many years to come,” said Randy Ermineskin.

Indeed, it is the most grandiose event that indigenous children ever had once a year. It is the love that has implanted within them and that will never fade away. A love filled with forgiveness and healing from their unpleasant past.

The chief hopes that the advocacy of the good Pastor will continue to grow and that he will be able to help many more that are in need.
