THE Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) conducted medical evacuation for a Swiss diver onboard a motorbanca Gabriela Dive Safari at the vicinity waters off Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro yesterday, 22 March 2025.

At around 5PM of the same date, Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Sablayan received a phone call from Ms. Nicole Obias, daughter of the owner of said motorbanca, requesting assistance to evacuate their guest onboard their motorbanca.

The patient was a 30-year-old Swiss national who experienced difficulty in breathing due to a series of diving activities.
