PH inflation remains most urgent concern, should be addressed by BBM admin— Survey

ACCORDING to the latest masa survey by the OCTA Research Group, among the eighteen issues facing the country, the problem of high prices of goods and services tops the list of concerns that the Marcos administration should address.

66% of adult Filipinos see controlling the increase in prices of basic goods and services as an urgent concern while increasing workers’ wages and ensuring access to affordable food, ranked second and third, with 44%.

Meanwhile, job creation and poverty reduction made it to the top 5 most urgent national concerns.

Only 4% expressed a desire to defend the country’s territory from invaders, while the push for charter change lagged behind with just 1%.

The survey was conducted from march 11 to 14 this year with 1,200 adult respondents nationwide.
