SFR(A) produces new batch of paratroopers

A total of 223 newly minted paratroopers from three courses concluded their training in the Joint Closing Ceremony of the Basic Airborne Course CL 142-2024, Parachute Packing Course CL 59-2024; and Jump Master Course CL 93-2024 at the Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) Headquarters, Fort Ramon Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on May 24, 2024.

175 students completed the BAC CL 142-2024; 28 students completed the PPC CL 59-2024; while 20 students completed JMC CL 93-2024. In his message, guest of honor and speaker, AFP Civil Relations Service (AFPCRS) Commander Major General Ramon P. Zagala underscored the crucial role of airborne trainings in inculcating courage to every paratrooper. “Your airborne wings embody the courage and readiness to take challenging missions ahead of you,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Army leadership vowed to sustain the top-notch training program which will bolster the proficiency and excellence of individual airborne troopers and the overall combat readiness of SFR(A).
