ATTY. Dinah Tolentino-Fuentes, legal counsel for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), asked, ‘Why are they trying to paint Pastor Apollo as a criminal when his case has not even gone to trial yet?
“Under the Bill of Rights, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. So, this means dapat may trial. Hindi pa nga nagta-trial kasi hindi pa nga nagsu-surrender si Pastor at that time.”
“So, until then, he is entitled to this Constitutional presumption that hindi siya kriminal. He is just accused of a crime. That’s why accused ang tawag sa kanya, hindi kriminal. And that is what I cannot understand, why are they trying to paint Pastor that he is already a criminal when his case has not even undergone trial yet?” according to Atty.
