PCG Commandant Admiral Gavan honors personnel deployed  in the vicinity waters of Bajo de Masinloc

PHILIPPINE Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, Coast Guard Admiral Ronnie Gil L Gavan recognized the valiant men and women deployed in the vicinity waters of Bajo de Masinloc (BDM) during a simple ceremony at the Headquarters Coast Guard Fleet, Pier 13, Manila yesterday, 06 May 2024.

The Award of Coast Guard Bronze Cross Medal and Ribbon was accorded by CG Admiral Gavan to the 40 personnel of Barko ng Republika ng Pilipinas (BRP) Bagacay (MRRV- 4410) and other PCG units for their exemplary dedication and bravery which reflects the finest tradition of Coast Guard Service.

In his speech, CG Admiral Gavan commended said PCG personnel for their invaluable and exemplary service being rendered in the recent resupply mission to BDM and security assistance to BRP DATU BANGKAW of BFAR despite the continuous risk encountered during their routine operation.

Also present during the ceremony were PCG Deputy Commandant for Administration, CG Vice Admiral Allan Victor Dela Vega; Commander, Coast Guard Fleet, CG Rear Admiral Edgar Ybañez; and other PCG senior officers and non-officers.
