THE 3rd Special Forces “Arrowhead” Battalion (3SFBn) facilitated the awarding of 551k pesos in aid from the Enhanced Comprehensive Livelihood Integration Program (E-CLIP) to a former high-ranking NPA member at the Provincial Learning Center, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, on March 18, 2024.
The allocation stands as the highest recorded cash assistance disbursed by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office of Agusan del Sur to a single former rebel. The recipient received 50,000 pesos in livelihood assistance, 15,000 pesos in immediate cash aid, and reimbursement for firearms.
The Army leadership extols the 3SFBn for its exemplary efforts in fostering reconciliation and providing meaningful support to former rebels, thereby contributing to peace and development in Agusan del Sur. Its commitment in supporting former rebels reflect its mission of serving the people and securing the land, making them a cornerstone of a stronger and more resilient nation.
