THAILAND showed significant improvement in its economic performance for this year as it jumped five places higher in this year’s competitiveness ranking.
Thailand’s economic performance in 2024 landed the country in 25th place worldwide from 30th place last year.
The Southeast Asian nation also landed second among top-performing countries in the region.
The 2024 competitiveness ranking released by the IMD World Competitiveness Center assessed 67 economies.
The country’s domestic economy also improved from 44th to 39th this year.
Thailand anticipates 35 million foreign arrivals and 3 trillion baht in tourism revenue by the end of 2024.
