Arab States share intel with U.S., Israel before Iran’s extensive attack

SAUDI Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were just some of the countries that shared private intelligence with Washington that helped Israel prepare and counter the massive attack from Iran.

A report from the Washington Street Journal claimed Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries passed the information two days before the attack.

The Arab countries opened their airspace to fighter jets and shared radar tracking information.

They also provided a brief outline and timing of their plans so that they could safeguard airspace.

The United Kingdom, France, Jordan, and Egypt also played a role in preventing the extensive attack.

According to the report, the Arab states initially hesitated to share intelligence material out of fear it would directly involve them in the conflict.

However, after talks and pressure from Washington, the countries finally agreed to open their airspace and share intelligence amid concerns the latest wave of tensions could lead to another world war.

Israel’s Defense Forces said about 99% of the incoming threats were intercepted.
