Arabian Travel Market attracts thousands to Dubai

MORE than 2,000 exhibitors and representatives from over 150 countries attended the 30th edition of Arabian Travel Market 2023.

An estimated 34,000 visitors across the globe will flock to Dubai from May 1 to 4.

The annual event is one of the most important international platforms for the travel and tourism business.

In line with the theme “Working Towards Net Zero,” the show will provide a forum for participants to make new connections, share expertise, and demonstrate technologies that have the potential to accelerate the global travel sector’s shift toward decarbonization.

The event will include a ministerial debate on how travel can tackle the climate crisis.

This year’s sessions will focus on the key markets of India, China, and countries within the Persian Gulf.

The number of exhibitors participating in the event increased by 27 percent in 2023 compared to last year.

The Arabian Travel Market first opened its doors in 1994 at the Dubai World Trade Center and hosted about 7,000 trade visitors.
