TWO of the biggest tech billionaires in the world had a playful banter on social media, but it could potentially lead to a real face-off between Twitter CEO Elon Musk and Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.
It all started when Musk commented about Zuckerberg online, expressing his concerns about the dominance of Facebook, and that it could potentially be developing a Twitter competitor.
Musk then jokingly suggested a cage match after a Twitter user told him that he should be careful of Zuckerberg since he had been practicing Jiu-Jitsu.
Zuckerberg surprisingly responded by posting a screenshot of Musk’s tweet on Instagram with the caption “Send me the location”.
Tech media, The Verge, actually reached out to Meta for a response, and its editor Alex Heath confirmed that Zuckerberg is serious about the match and is now waiting on the details.
Musk then suggested the famous Las Vegas Octagon, referring to UFC‘s top venue for fights as their so-called ‘potential battleground’.
But whether or not the exchange is serious or just a playful banter between the two tech billionaires, netizens are already speculating on who might win in what could be the greatest pay-per-view fight of the century.
