THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through the MSME Development Group, hosted a successful ILLO’s Group Learning Session at the newly renovated OTOP Retail and Learning Center, located at the DTI-Head Office in Makati City.
MSME participants actively engaged during the Q&A segment with resource speaker Mark “Mac” Agapito, Chief Operating Officer of ILLO’s Group.
Mac shared the inspiring journey of their food business, which evolved from humble beginnings in a makeshift kitchen to its current success. The session, part of DTI’s continuous efforts to empower MSMEs, provided valuable insights and strategies for business growth.
Usec. Cris Roque of the MSME Development Group inspired attendees with her emphasis on the importance of knowledge as power and the need for “grit”—the courage and strength to persevere through life’s challenges.
Additionally, the OTOP Retail and Learning Center became a valuable platform for MSME products to gain exposure and drive sales.
