International exercise kicks off in Greece

MILITARY personnel from several countries started arriving at the Andravida Air Base in Greece to participate in the multi-national air exercise known as Iniochos 2023.

The joint drills started on April 18 and ends on May 8.

The multi-national exercise attracted huge assets and fighters from different countries such as the United States, India, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Cyprus, and Jordan, among others.

Meanwhile, several nations have declared their intention to participate with observers, such as Bahrain, Germany, Montenegro, Morocco, Slovakia, and Tunisia.

The military drills provide high-level training and a unique participation experience.

It is designed to simulate a realistic combat scenario and involves various kinds of air and surface assets.

The annual drills made Greece an attractive destination for military troops from Europe and the Balkans as they learn new defense techniques together while building a strong and sustainable force.
