Iran FM visit Lebanon, Syria amid Gaza crisis

IRAN’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian  travel to Lebanon and Syria for the third time since the war in Gaza broke out.

Amirabdollahian arrive in Lebanon on Friday and travel to Syria next week.

The attacks launched by Israel’s military in Syria and the ongoing campaign for a ceasefire in Gaza are part of the talks.

Israel’s bombing campaign against Iran-linked targets in Syria has intensified since Hamas launched the surprise attack on October 7.

On Thursday evening, Lebanon-based Hezbollah announced it had targeted the headquarters of the second infantry brigade at Israel’s Ein Zeitim base with dozens of Katyusha rockets as well as the Meron airbase.

The Iranian foreign minister last year said that Lebanon’s Hezbollah group has considered all the scenarios of war and warned Israel to stop its attacks on Gaza.
