SUMUKO na sa mga otoridad ang isang extremist leader o kumander ng Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) sa Maguindanao kasama ang sampu nitong tagasunod o followers ng grupo.
Bitbit ang iba’t ibang uri ng matataas na kalibre ng armas, baril, at pampasabog, isinuko ng tinaguriang violent extremist ng Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters ang kanyang sarili at sampung mga tagasunod nito.
Umabot sa 11 armas ang isinuko ng mga ito sa pakikipagtulungan ng 33rd Infantry Battalion Joint Task Force Central at Barangay Kuloy, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao.

(2) Caliber .30 M1 Garand Rifle,
(1) Caliber 5.56mm M16 Rifle,

(2) Improvised Explosive Devices, and ammunition of different calibers.
Ayon sa impormasyon, miyembro ang mga ito ng BIFF-Karialan Faction sa Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao.
Ang kinabibilangang grupo ay matagal nang sangkot sa mga pagpapasabog sa malalaking bahagi ng Mindanao kasama na rito ang twin bombings sa Sultan Kudarat.
Ang IFF-Karialan Faction din ang isa sa mga kabakbakan ng mga nasawing SAF-44 sa Maguindanao.
Malaking perwisyo din ang idinulot ng kanilang grupo laban sa mga sundalo at maging sa mga sibilyan.
Ayon kay Colonel Pedro C. Balisi Jr., Commanding Officer of the 1st Mechanized Brigade, malaking rason ng sunud-sunod na pagsuko ng mga rebelde at mga terorista dahil sa mga tuluy-tuloy na interbensiyon ng kanilang hanay katuwang ang pamahalaan upang bigyan ng mas magandang oportunidad ang mga ito sa pagbabalik-loob sa lipunan.
“The relentless military operations against the extremist group and the offer of the government for a peaceful life through the AGILA-HAVEN Program of the Province of Maguindanao paved the way for them to abandon violent extremism and return to the folds of the law,” ayon kay Colonel Balisi.
Ayon naman kay Lieutenant Colonel Benjamin Cadiente Jr., Commanding Officer ng 33IB, agad na isasailalim sa ilang pagsasanay at seminar kaugnay sa may kinalaman sa paghahanapbuhay habang nasa proseso ito ng pgbabalik-loob sa pamahalaan.
“The surrenderers were immediately brought to the Headquarters of 33IB in Brgy Zapakan, Rajah Buayan, Maguindanao for custodial debriefing and profiling prior to their endorsement to the Province of Maguindanao to avail of the livelihood packages and assistance under the AGILA-HAVEN Program,” saad ni LtCol. Cadiente Jr.
Ayon sa pamunuan ng 33IB, simula pa noong Enero ngayong taon, higit pang tumaas ang bilang ng mga nagsisipagsukong mga miyembro ng communist terrorist groups ng Maguindanao at iba pang bahagi ng Central Mindanao.
“I commend this accomplishment of 33IB which contributes to our campaign against violent extremism and bringing us closer to the desire of the people of Maguindanao for a peaceful and progressive province,” ayon kay Major General Juvymax Uy, Commander, JTG Central 6th and Infantry Division.
“Through the partnership of the military, the LGUs, and the community, the remaining violent extremists particularly the BIFF and Daulah Islamiya will be ultimately defeated,” dagdag nito.
Nitong unang bahagi lang ng kasallukuyang buwan, 13 miyembro rin ng Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) ang sumuko sa tropa ng militar sa lalawigan ng Sultan Kudarat.
