Giit ni Romualdez na malaking source ng investment ang US at ‘major trading and economic cooperation partner and ally,’ ng bansa.
At ang US ay ang pinakamalaking source ng remittances mula sa overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) at Filipino-Americans kaya positibo ang outcome nila sa pagbisita doon ni PBBM.
$14 billion na halaga ng investment pledges sa Indonesia at Singapore ang nauwi ni Pangulong BBM mula sa Indonesia at Singapore kaya umaasa si Romualdez na masusundan ang resulta na ito sa biyahe ng Pangulo ngayon sa US.
‘We have to make different sectors of the economy stronger and more agile by creating more jobs and catalyzing business activities all over the country while saving lives and protecting communities from the continuing threat of the global health crisis,’ saad ni Romualdez.
